I’m Samantha Tinsley, a multidisciplinary designer from Kentucky. I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University’s Potter College of Arts and Letters, where I obtained my BFA with concentrations in both Graphic Design & UX.
My experience includes working as a graphic designer for WKU’s Campus Recreation and Wellness, where I worked on various digital and print assets, ranging from event branding to facility signage. Here I have gained experience working within a strong brand identity.
I have also completed a semester-long internship as a team member of the Interface Design Experience and Analysis (IDEA) Lab, a student-run UX research and design lab based at WKU. During my time as a team member, we worked on the second iteration of the Sunsketcher mobile app, funded by NASA.
My work lives at the intersection of bold, contemporary choices and a sense of timelessness. To me, the creative process is like completing a puzzle – you experiment, build ideas, and research until everything clicks into a solution that feels intentional. I’m deeply influenced by music, entertainment, and pop culture, which continue to shape the energy and direction of my work.
